NORTHERN REGION

Days Inn - Panama City Beach - 2018 has been a challenging year for the community of Bay County including the cities of Panama City Beach and Panama City. After the devastating events of Hurricane Michael, we are eager to welcome guests back to “the world’s most beautiful beaches.” Panama City Beach has been spared much of the destruction and Days Inn is working to make sure that we are ready to welcome guests back starting in March. Days Inn Panama City Beach has been working to give back to the community helping with events such as “Back to School Bash,” “Downtown Trick or Treat” and more. We believe that it is important to work hand in hand with our community so that we can be ‘Days Inn Strong.’ Renovations of the Days Inn property have begun to give guests an even more welcoming feel as they travel to Panama City Beach.

Hyatt Place - Sandestin - Coming to Sandestin in February 2019, designed by Howard Hospitality and HVS Design, the Hyatt Place will bring a new 84 room select service hotel to South Walton. The new hotel will be walking distance to Grand Boulevard’s town Center, have free hot breakfast daily, coffee and cocktail bars, free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel and guestrooms, a 1,600 square foot meeting space and a 24 hour fitness center. Anna Maria Beach Resort - Anna Maria - Expected to open late autumn 2018 (and taking bookings for 2019), Anna Maria Beach Resort combines luxury and the premier location of Anna Maria Island to provide an unmatched motel experience on the island. Once the Blue Water Beach Resort, it has been fully renovated to offer a combination of 31 suites and deluxe and standard rooms, all with modern and luxury interiors. Holiday Inn Club Vacations - Cape Canaveral - New five-story, 42-villa Signature Collection Reserve building and pool at its Holiday Inn Club Vacations Cape Canaveral Beach Resort. Cape Canaveral, Florida is a historic destination for fans of space exploration. It’s also an incredible ocean and nature getaway with miles of beautiful beaches. Comfort Inn Lake Buena Vista and the Royale Parc Suites - Lake Buena Vista - The six-story, 200-room Comfort Inn Lake Buena Vista will be converted into IHG’s upper-scale Crowne Plaza. Renovations, which began in August of this year, include a complete overhaul of the guest rooms. They are being remodeled one floor at a time and are expected to be completed by March 2019, with the common areas expected to be ready by the end of May. Renovations are also well underway at the Royale Parc Suites, which is in the process of converting from a Quality Suites to an upper-scale Staybridge Suites.

Spring Hill Suites - Ocala - This brand new property is targeted for an opening date in January 2019. The seven story hotel will feature 102 rooms, all suites, and will be well appointed with West Elm furniture, a large work desk in each room, upgraded Wi-Fi, and large screen TV’s in each room where guests can cast their own content onto the screen. The lobby will have an 80 inch digital board with a touch screen where guests can find area activities and attractions. The outdoor space will have a fire pit where guests are encouraged to socialize, a free deluxe continental breakfast and an indoor mineral pool round out the top notch features at this green friendly hotel.

Disney's Riviera Resort - Orlando - Marking the 15th Disney Vacation Club property, this resort is expected to open in fall 2019 in Walt Disney World's Epcot area.

Margaritaville Resort - Orlando - Parrotheads, get ready to party at a resort based on Jimmy Buffet's signature brand! Coming in January 2019, this waterfront destination will feature 175 guestrooms, 1,000 Margaritaville-themed vacation homes and 300 timeshare units. It will also boast a dining and entertainment district, a 12-acre water park, a wellness center, miles of fitness trails and a unique water taxi system.

Universal's Surfside Inn and Suites - Orlando - Following the premiere of Universal's Aventura Hotel in 2018, Universal Orlando Resort will open this hotel in summer 2019 as the first of two properties in Universal's Endless Summer Resort. Surfside Inn and Suites will offer some of Universal Orlando Resort's most affordable accommodations.

Sirata Beach Resort - St. Pete Beach - St. Pete Beach’s iconic seaside escape completed its $15 million transformation with the highly anticipated reopening of Rum Runners Bar & Grille, private beachfront lanais, new breezeway and south pool area. The resort’s new pool, lounging areas and upgraded dining option mark the final touches to Sirata Beach Resort’s full transformation that began in early 2018.

TradeWinds Island Resorts - Island Grand & Guy Harvey Outpost - St. Pete Beach - The TradeWinds Island Resorts on St. Pete Beach is currently undergoing a more than $13 million room renovation at both the Island Grand and Guy Harvey Outpost properties. The Island Grand room renovation will begin with 288 rooms in the Jacaranda building this fall, with all rooms slated to be redone by the end of 2020. All 211 rooms at Guy Harvey Outpost are currently being revitalized for completion by Feb. 2019. All 211 rooms at Guy Harvey Outpost are currently being revitalized. The furniture in the rooms at both properties will receive a fresh look and all rooms will receive new sofa beds, carpeting, fresh paint and upgraded bathroom mirrors and lighting. All soft goods will be replaced, including bedding, draperies and upholstery.

SOUTHERN REGION

The Biltmore Hotel - Coral Gables - This national historic landmark established in 1926, member of the Leading Hotels of the World and iconic luxury hotel in the heart of the exclusive area of Coral Gables, is redesigning of all the hotel’s luxurious accommodations & corridors as well as plans to restore its 18-hole, par-71 golf course to the original grandeur of the 1925 Donald Ross-designed course layout.

The Aloft Delray Beach - Delray Beach - Situated in the heart of Delray's downtown SOFA District is in an ideal location to enjoy all the shops, restaurants and entertainment venues along Atlantic Avenue. The town’s nightlife is second to none. Our over-sized elevated amenity Deck offers groups the advantage of outdoor space for congregating and enjoying the weather. Our Swim Spa sits right by the deck. White Sand beaches are a short walk away. We have extensive conference and meeting facilities. The Ray – Delray Beach - Delray Beach - Scheduled to open Winter 2019, the new property will be located in the Pineapple Grove Arts District of downtown Delray Beach. The project will include 141 rooms and suites, three restaurants (one of which will be a rooftop restaurant), a rooftop pool and lounge area, fitness center, two levels of underground parking, and an elevated glass-enclosed event space for up to 300 guests.

Baker's Cay Resort, a Curio Collection by Hilton - Key Largo - This resort will open in early 2019 as the Keys’ only Curio property. The 13-acre, 200-room resort is to offer 17,000 square feet of meeting space with executive boardrooms, a grand lawn and two expansive ballrooms. Pet amenities include dog Tiki huts and cooled water bowls. A beachside tequila and taco venue is to include house-made hot sauces crafted from peppers grown on the property. Two swimming pools with a waterfall grotto, a winding nature trail lined with hidden beaches, a boat dock and salon also are on-site. Baker’s Cay Resort is located at 97000 Overseas Highway at mile marker 97 bayside.

Bungalows Key Largo - Key Largo - The recently-opened adults-only Bungalows Key Largo is a 12-acre 135-unit "luxury inclusive" resort and the Key's first all-inclusive resort. Whether you want to kick back and relax or experience an action-packed itinerary across land, sea and sky, Bungalows Key Largo delivers on a grand scale. Every day is a little different here, but each one is spectacular. Steps from your bungalow you’ll find stand-up paddleboards, snorkel gear, kayaks and more - grab a toy and hit the water. On land, look for corn hole and daily sunrise yoga. When the sun sets, Bungalow evenings are memories in the making.

Axel Hotel - Miami - A popular Spanish hotel company aimed at the LGBTQ community is opening a Miami Beach location—the first in the U.S. for the brand. “Everything started with a dream: to open a hotel aimed at the LGBTQ world, my world,” says Juan Juliá, Axel Hotel president. “A cosmopolitan and tolerant environment where atmosphere, diversity and respect are valued.” The first hotel opened in 2003 in Barcelona and the Miami Beach hotel will open in a 1940s-era Art Deco building on Collins Avenue. The hotel will feature 159 rooms, luxury spa, restaurant and rooftop bar.

Celino South Beach - Miami - Spanning three original Art Deco buildings on Ocean Drive, plus a brand new edition, the historic Park Central Hotel is undergoing a $110 million transformation and will debut as Celino South Beach. Exuding 1940s glamour, the original hotel was a popular hangout for throwback stars like Clark Gable and Humphry Bogart. Legend has it that the property was the birthplace of America’s first conga line. The 132-room hotel features include a rooftop glass-bottom pool, a library overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, Mediterranean restaurant with seafood fare and lots of fun in-room amenities like a conga line kit with how-to guides, conga drums and Cuban cigars. The Celino is a signature project of Optimum Group and managed by Highgate hospitality company.

Greystone Hotel - Miami - Located near South Beach's Collins Park and situated within walking distance to the Miami Beach Convention Center, The Greystone Hotel is a 56,000-square-foot Art Deco hotel inspired by Miami’s Golden Era. A VOS Hospitality property, this upscale, 92-room boutique hotel features a five-story tower, rooftop swimming pool and bar, 140-seat restaurant and a subterranean speakeasy lounge, all designed by Shulman + Associates. "We are excited about the restoration of this historical property," says James Vosotas, CEO of VOS Hospitality. "The building and location have a lot of potential as the epicenter of South Beach continues to move north."

Hotel Palomar South Beach - Miami - Under the Kimpton umbrella, Hotel Palomar South Beach is located in the hip Sunset Harbour neighborhood in Miami Beach. Owned and developed by The Finvarb Group, the hotel will feature a striking design by legendary Miami architect and designer Kobi Karp, a rooftop pool and a new signature restaurant overlooking Collins Canal. “Miami continues to be one of the hottest tourist destinations in North America and has become an increasingly popular destination for international travelers as well,” says Mike DeFrino, CEO for Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants. “The Hotel Palomar South Beach will be a wonderful addition to our properties in sunny South Florida.”

Hyatt Regency Miami - Miami - Exciting new transformations has brought the Hyatt Regency Miami up-to-date with the modern elegance and luxury that this hotel is known for. Come see for yourself a full lobby refresh, an opening of a full service deli with hot and cold prepared items, extensive beverage offerings, brand new outside entrance pavement and new entrance, new tile in vanity area, new carpet in corridors, and a virtual concierge and digital signage.

Mr. C Coconut Grove - Miami - The brainchild of Ignazio and Maggio Cipriani, Mr. C Hotels is opening its first location in sunny Florida. Mr. C Coconut Grove combines an Italian coastal style with Miami’s tropical aesthetic. Located in Coconut Grove, the hotel will feature 100 guestrooms and suites situated within walking distance to a bevy of restaurants and boutiques. The onsite eatery, Bellini Restaurant and Bar, is an Italian concept inspired by the founders’ travels throughout Italy. “The hotel is suspended on sculptural stilts in the tree canopy of Coconut Grove,” says Raymond Fort, Senior Associate of Arquitectonica. “This design embraces the idea of the historic Stiltsville structures in Biscayne Bay that can be seen at a distance from the rooms and public spaces of the hotel.”

Palihouse Miami Beach - Miami - Los Angeles-based Paligroup is opening its first hotel on the East Coast. The 71-room Palihouse Miami Beach will debut on the Indian Creek waterway in a completely reimagined historic Art Deco building. Most rooms will feature kitchenettes and the lobby will showcase an eclectic boho chic vibe. Guests will have access to the hotel’s beach club and boat dock, and the pool deck will feature a patio garden. The best part? The hotel is close to all the action in Miami Beach and there’s so much to do.

Selina Hotel Little Havana - Miami - Miami’s colorful Little Havana neighborhood is getting a new boutique hotel. Formerly known as the historic Tower Hotel, the property will debut as Selina Hotel Little Havana. Designed for the nomadic Millennial traveler, the Latin American hotel brand combines a boutique hotel concept with co-working and co-living spaces. This is the first location in the United States for Selina brand founders Rafi Museri and Daniel Rudasevski. Additionally, the hotel is planning a partnership with Miami-based Mad Room Hospitality, the company behind the popular Ball & Chain restaurant and bar in Little Havana.

Wyndham Grand and TRYP by Wyndham - MiamiHospitality industry giant Wyndham Hotel Group is opening a combination of the Wyndham Grand and TRYP by Wyndham brand hotels—a first for the company. The new dual-branded hotel will tower 41-stories high and feature 445 rooms (200 under Wyndham Grand and 245 under TRYP by Wyndham). The hotels will share a lobby and lounge space, pool deck and a rooftop restaurant and bar. Brand loyalists will be glad to know the property will feature their signature family-style rooms with extra space and bunk beds for kids—a favorite amenity for adults traveling with children. "With nearly 16 million visitors last year and projected increases for the years ahead, Miami continues to be one of the world's most coveted travel destinations with a style all its own," says Mark Kukulski, president of Wyndham Hotel Group's management organization. "By combining our most worldly, destination-centric brands, we're offering travelers a taste of Wyndham Hotel Group, Miami-style – with chic shared spaces, trendy dining options and their choice of brand experience via TRYP by Wyndham's lifestyle flair or Wyndham Grand's easy elegance." The property is expected to open in late 2019.

Banyan Cay Resort & Golf, A Noble House Resort - West Palm Beach - Situated on 250 acres just outside of downtown West Palm Beach, Banyan Cay Resort & Golf is set to open in late 2019. The resort centerpieces include a 150-room lifestyle hotel and 130-acre Jack Nicklaus Signature Course, a new par-72 design to feature five sets of tees to accommodate all skill levels, and course yardage from 4,800 yards to 7,200 yards. Guests will also have access to a full service clubhouse, resort dining, a 5,000-square-foot signature spa and fitness center, tennis pavilion, pool, and more than 15,000 square feet of meeting facilities.
