OVER 300 NATIONAL, REGIONAL AND LOCAL PERFORMERS TO PLAY 88 SHOWCASES AT 11 VENUES DURING FLORIDA’S LARGEST FREE MUSIC FESTIVAL THIS SEPTEMBER

July 30, 2019 (St. Augustine, Fla.) – Florida’s largest free music festival and benefit concert, the Sing Out Loud Festival, has published the Festival schedule online at www.singoutloudfestival.com. With a roster of 334 national, regional and local performers, the 4th Annual Sing Out Loud Festival set a new record for number of acts playing during the month of September in St. Augustine, Florida. 

Each weekend in September, beginning Friday, September 6 and running through Sunday, September 29, 11 St. Augustine venues will host free live performances by hundreds of singers, musicians, poets and comedians in an epic celebration of live entertainment. The festival features 334 performers ranging in genres from indie rock, Americana, blues, hip-hop and electronica to spoken word, bluegrass, punk rock, jazz and comedy. This year’s Festival brings local and regional acts together with headliners such as Grammy award-winning country music star Kacey Musgraves, retro soul group St. Paul & The Broken Bones, indie pop songstress Jenny Lewis, lo-fi guitar hero Kurt Vile, Americana troubadours Shovels & Rope, hip-hop icon and member of Wu-Tang Clan GZA, beach goth purveyors The Growlers, punk rock torchbearers Hot Water Music and Propagandhi, indie rock charmer Phosphorescent, New Orleans brass troupe The Dirty Dozen Brass Band and many more. Every performance is free and open to the public with exception of the Saturday, September 21 Kacey Musgraves Benefit Concert.  

In addition to live performances, workshops led by national music industry professionals will be held the weekend of September 21 and 22. The topics will focus on artist development, music marketing and the recording industry. Details on the workshops including locations, panelists and more will be released the week of August 5. 

About Sing Out Loud Festival

The Sing Out Loud Festival is an annual live entertainment festival held throughout September in St. Augustine, Florida. The St. Augustine Distillery proudly presents the Festival, with additional Festival support from Champion Brands, AVL Productions, Intuition Ale Works, WJCT 89.9FM, St. Augustine Historic Inns, TRYP St. Augustine, The Columbia Restaurant, Folio Weekly, Embassy Suites St. Augustine, Guy Harvey Resort, Beacher’s Lodge and Regency Inn & Suites. The St. Johns County Cultural Events Division (which owns and operates the St. Augustine Amphitheatre and Ponte Vedra Concert Hall) and the St. Johns County Tourist Development Council produce the annual Festival. Since its inception in 2016, the festival has welcomed an estimated 75,000 music fans, featured over 900 performing artists at a dozen local venues and raised over $100,000 for charitable organizations such as the Betty Griffin House of St. Johns County, United Way and the OneOrlando Fund.
