MIAMI, June 24, 2020 – Acqualina Resort & Residences, a luxury seaside haven located on 4.5 beachfront acres in pristine Sunny Isles Beach, is now open with an enhanced health and safety program providing guests, residents and team members with confidence and assurance that their well-being is a top priority. Additionally, the ultra-resort has introduced the Acqualina App delivering greater attention to detail while allowing guests to control how they engage with team members. For optimum luxury service, new GEMs (Guests Experience Managers) will be contacting each and every guest to ensure a truly personalized stay and that health and safety concerns are successfully addressed.

Acqualina has enhanced its safety procedures through the use of Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) approved electrostatic disinfectant tools using a combination of detoxification chemicals and electrostatic molecules that effectively sanitize all interior and exterior spaces and surfaces.
A few things guests can expect to see:
· A non-contact temperature check for all guests, residents and team members
· Guests are required to wear a face covering when traversing throughout the property
· Personal protective equipment and enhanced training are provided to all team members
· Hand-sanitizer dispensers — touchless wherever possible — are placed throughout the resort
· Six-foot distancing measures between individuals, groups and staff are required at all times
· Social distancing mats located throughout the property
· The resort complies with all occupancy limits mandated by local and/or state authorities.
The Acqualina App
A key part of the guest experience is the Acqualina App providing the continuation of personalized attention and keeping with the award-winning Acqualina service. An iPad will be available in all guestrooms and suites and guests are also encouraged to download the Acqualina App to their own devices. Features include customizing your stay with special requests such as extra pillows and selecting times for room cleaning and turndown to ordering pre-arrival amenities and easy-to-book restaurant and spa reservations and room service orders. Online cabana bookings can be made and soon guests will be able to order food while at the pools and beach. Guests can also view flight information, check in for their flight and read the daily newspaper and magazines, request complimentary best-selling books and much more.
GEMs (Guest Experience Managers)
Acqualina's Guest Experience Managers, warmly referred to as GEMs, will curate all aspects of the guest's stay from customizing the private bar, coordinating shopping lists and ordering groceries, and booking dining reservations to ordering a virtual tour and showing a video of room orientation. GEMs will be contacting guests via email, by phone or even Zoom, whatever they prefer, and will be the main point of contact prior to arrival and throughout the stay to ensure that needs are met and exceeded.
