Readers Vote Amelia No. 6 Best Island in Continental US

The popular travel magazine’s 25th annual “World’s Best Awards” reader survey put Amelia Island at No. 6 on the list, topping other Florida islands including the Florida Keys, Captiva Island, Sanibel Island and Long Boat Key.

The World’s Best Awards is a travel awards program run by Travel + Leisure and based on an annual reader survey. The prestigious annual awards honor the top travel destinations, hotels, and companies worldwide. The 2020 survey was open at tlworldsbest.com from Nov. 4, 2019 to March 2, 2020.
The winners will appear in the August 2020 issue of Travel + Leisure magazine and have been released on TravelAndLeisure.com.
