Tampa, FL (September 20, 2020) - Visit the Henry B. Plant Museum for a thrilling Halloween event. An Eerie Evening at the Tampa Bay Hotel will be held on October 23, 24 and 30, 2020 from 6 – 9:30 pm. See the Museum in moonlight as you've never seen it before and try to solve a murder mystery before the next victim falls! Period lighting and candles set the stage for a night of intrigue. Candle light flickers off the walls as visitors explore the Museum.

The former Tampa Bay Hotel has been a silent witness to countless individuals over the past 129 years. Who knows how many crossed the threshold with malice in their hearts? Visitors to An Eerie Evening will find themselves transported back to the 1890s, shortly after a terrible crime has been committed. Evidence and clues are scattered throughout the rooms and guests must strive to put the pieces together in time to prevent the next attack.

An Eerie Evening at the Tampa Bay Hotel is a rare opportunity to visit the Museum after dark. Space is limited to 30 individuals per hour and masks are required for all guests. Ticket times are as follows: 67, 7:15-8:15 with additional times available if needed. Cleaning of all high touch areas will occur regularly throughout the evening.

Tickets will go on sale to the public September 28, $25 per person. Advanced purchase is required. This event is intended for visitors ages 16 and above. For more information visit www.plantmuseum.com or call 813.258.7302. The Henry Plant Museum interprets the turn-of-the-century Tampa Bay Hotel and the lifestyles of America’s Gilded Age. Critical to the success of this mission is the restoration and preservation of this National Historic Landmark, an opulent 1891 railroad resort, and the artifacts significant to its history, and the life and work of Henry Bradley Plant.
