The nation’s first and only “NLCC’ (Nice Low Cost Carrier) is also rebranding its front seating section to be called “Breeze Ascent,” an affordable, elevated onboard experience.  Ascent includes a recliner-style seat in a 2x2 configuration, with 20.5-inches of width and 39-inches of seat pitch, and complimentary snacks and beverages, including alcohol.

“In just over a year, Breeze has grown tremendously at JAX,” Jacksonville Aviation Authority (JAA) CEO Mark VanLoh said. “Not only do they provide an opportunity for tourists to visit beautiful Northeast Florida, but our local travelers now have reasonably priced nonstop flights to some of our most-requested markets.”

From Jacksonville, Breeze also serves Hartford, CT; Las Vegas, NV; New Orleans, LA; and Westchester County-New York, NY.

The Nicest bundle includes Breeze Ascent and two checked bags.  The airline currently flies both short distance and transcontinental flights within the U.S. on a fleet of Embraer 190/195 and Airbus A220-300 aircraft. The carrier has ordered 80 A220s, with options for 40 more. 

Seat pitch for a Standard Economy seat is 30 inches on the A220s and 31 inches on the E-195s, while seat pitch for Extra Legroom is 32 inches on the A220s and between 34 and 39 inches on the E-195s, depending on the row selected. Breeze Ascent features 39 inches of seat pitch, 20.5 inches of seat width, and special features including a footrest for added comfort, and in-seat AC power and USB/C ports.
