MELBOURNE, Fla., January 18, 2021 — Runners and walkers of all skill levels are invited to race or stroll through Brevard Zoo during the Rafiki Run 3k on Saturday, February 13 at 7 a.m. A virtual option is also available.

Organized by Running Zone Foundation, this event will mark the 15th annual race held at the Zoo. These races have generated a total of $107,000 for the Zoo’s animal wellness and conservation programs.

Complimentary masks will be available at the race. All participants are required to wear a mask when social distancing is difficult, and spectators are strongly encouraged to wear masks. Race start times will be staggered to encourage social distancing.

All participants receive a finisher medal, 50% off Zoo admission on the day of the event (race number required) and the chance to win a $500 Disney gift card. A catered breakfast will be provided, and beer will be offered to participants ages 21 and up. Registration is available online at www.brevardzoo.org/rafiki-run.
