Busch Wildlife Sanctuary has more than one milestone to celebrate this year. Along with its big move to Jupiter Farms, the nonprofit is commemorating its 40th anniversary of caring for our fragile wildlife. Since it’s founding in 1983, the Sanctuary has admitted over 570 native species. The generations of families who have visited the Sanctuary can attest to the importance of environmental education and the impact the community has had on the growth of the facility. Now, entering its 40 th year, Busch Wildlife will embark on quite possibly its most remarkable endeavor, moving to a new, larger campus in West Jupiter.

“The support Busch Wildlife has received from the community over the past decades has been incredible. Our organization would not have made it this far without their continued love of wildlife and the desire to learn how to coexist. We are beyond grateful, and we look forward to celebrating another 40 years at our new home in Jupiter Farms.”

Limited edition 40th anniversary apparel is available with proceeds going back to the Sanctuary to help care for sick, orphaned, and injured wildlife. https://www.bonfire.com/busch-wildlife-turns-40/

The Sanctuary is open for self-guided tours as well as private tours led by our staff Monday through Saturday 10am—4:30pm.
