INAUGURAL EVENT OF THE FLORIDA CRAFT SPIRITS ASSOCIATION WILL FEATURE DISTILLERIES FROM ACROSS THE SUNSHINE STATE

WHAT: The Florida Craft Spirits Association recently announced the dates of their first-ever Sunshine Spirits Festival, taking place in Tampa Bay Oct. 1 and 2. The festival will include participation by distilleries from across the state of Florida who will be on hand to provide tastes of their handcrafted spirits. 

The Sunshine Spirits Festival will include a VIP event on Friday, Oct. 1 at Kozuba & Sons Distillery in St. Pete, where guests will sample only rare or limited edition spirits from participating distilleries. The VIP event will include food and live music, and with attendance capped at 200 guests, ticket holders will have the special opportunity to meet the distillers and gain a unique perspective on the craft spirits industry. 

On Saturday, Oct. 2nd, the main event will take place at Dark Door Spirits in Tampa where more than 20 Florida distilleries will sample their spirits and unique cocktails. The festival will include food trucks, DJ, and the opportunity to win bottles of spirits in a chance drawing. “We are beyond excited to be launching the first annual Sunshine Spirits Festival, an event endorsed by craft spirit producers that showcases all of the great craft spirits from across the state of Florida. This is the culmination of years of work, and we look forward to growing this festival in the years ahead,” said David Cohen, president of the Florida Craft Spirits Association and Manifest Distilling in Jacksonville.

Tickets are on sale now at www.floridacraftspirits.org. Tickets are currently $150 for the VIP event, $40 for the main event, and $180 for a two-day pass for both events.

The Florida Craft Spirits Association (FCSA) was established in 2020 to serve as the voice for the Florida handcrafted distilled spirits industry. The FCSA’s mission is to grow the market for Florida craft spirits through education, marketing, and regulatory influence.
