In honor of Global Accessibility Awareness Day, The Sunshine State is celebrating travel that includes everyone. Across Florida, accessibility is more than a feature—it’s a priority. From ADA-accessible trails in nature preserves to cultural landmarks, inclusive attractions, and beach wheelchairs on scenic shores, the Sunshine State ensures that travelers of all abilities can experience unforgettable adventures.

Earlier this year, Curb Free Cory Lee visited Daytona Beach and Cocoa Beach to explore all the accessible features of the destinations. Over a six-day itinerary, Cory explored everything from beachfront experiences to immersive cultural attractions—all accessible for travelers with mobility needs. With the help from VISIT FLORIDA, please see below for Cory’s accessible adventure in the Sunshine State and how both destinations are raising the bar for accessible travel.
