The Family Theme Park Beams with Blue and White for their Hometown Hockey Team

WINTER HAVEN – The “Minilander” residents of Miniland Tampa at LEGOLAND® Florida Resort are celebrating the Stanley Cup champion Tampa Bay Lightning.

Tampa’s most iconic buildings in Miniland, built fully from more than 1.4 million LEGO® bricks at a 1:20 scale, are beaming with the Lightning’s blue and white, as a bright lightning bolt strikes the top triangle of the iconic SunTrust Building, and a message of “Go Bolts Win” runs across the legendary Tampa Theatre marquee.

Standing only four inches high, the more than 40 specially themed Minilander fans have taken to the streets of Tampa in front of the Lightning Bolt Statue to #BeTheDistantThunder. They’ve donned their team jerseys, “Go Bolts” banners and are hoisting their proportionately sized, one-and-a-half-inch long hockey sticks to hail the 2020 National Hockey League champions.

Lightning fans can visit these awesome “mini” enthusiasts at Miniland in LEGOLAND Florida Resort. Florida Residents can get an Annual Pass and enjoy unlimited admission, including access to all the awesome events, starting at less than $12/month with no down payment.
