NAPLES, Florida (May 2020) - The Golisano Children’s Museum of Naples (C’mon) is excited to announce it has officially re-opened to children and their families! Effective May 23rd, C’mon is open to members and visitors, however all visitors are asked to schedule their visit by reserving their preferred day and time at Cmon.org.
C’mon will be operating at a limited capacity and reduced hours using timed online ticket entries every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The museum will be closed on Wednesday and Sunday.
C’mon will open from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm and close from 12:30 to 1:30 pm for a thorough cleaning. The museum will then reopen from 1:30 pm to 5:00 pm for the second part of the day. Visitors can choose either morning or afternoon sessions.
All visitors and members will need to obtain an online ticket to enter C’mon at the designated time. C’mon will offer free ticket registrations for members during each timed entry window. No one will be admitted without online ticket registration in order to limit the capacity in the Museum. C’mon will re-evaluate these procedures during our first few weeks of reopening and will decide how to move forward into the summer months. We thank everyone for your patience and cooperation during this transition.
C’mon has always maintained rigorous sanitation protocols and, in addition to twice-daily cleaning of the museum, we have updated visitor procedures as well to include the following:
- All visitors will be required to use hand sanitizer prior to entry
- In accordance with CDC recommendations, all visitors ages 4 and up, and staff will be required to wear a face mask. If you need an accommodation, please email info@cmon.org
- All visitors should maintain proper social distancing (6 feet) from others
- C’mon will sanitize the Museum and loose parts between each timed entry period
- C’mon will provide sanitation wipes and hand sanitizer at various locations within the Museum for visitor use.
- The C’mon café has been closed. Visitors can purchase snacks and drinks within the Museum Store to be consumed on the patio in front of C’mon.
“We are delighted to be open once again and to see the smiles on children’s faces as they play, explore, learn and are inspired at C’mon. We thank the community for your unwavering support during our closure and we look forward sharing our new spring and summer programs, as well as our newest interactive exhibit, Castle Builders, which is also now open,” added Karysia Demarest, Executive Director, Golisano Children’s Museum of Naples.
