Henry's Sandwich Station Returns!

Celebrated Sandwich Shop to Open in Fort Lauderdale's Sistrunk Marketplace & Brewery on Thursday, September 1, 2022

New Location, Same Delicious Sandwiches!

Fort Lauderdale, Fla. - When Handcrafted Hospitality opened Henry’s Sandwich Station (Henry’s) in Fort Lauderdale’s FATVillage Arts District in 2018, it quickly became a Broward County mainstay for made-from-scratch sandwiches, soups and sweets. In July 2022, Handcrafted Hospitality owner/founder Marc Falsetto announced that Henry’s would be closing its doors and relocating. Now the savvy hospitality guru has announced that Henry’s will reopen to the public on Thursday, September 1, 2022, inside the Sistrunk Marketplace & Brewery located at 115 N.W. Sixth Street in Fort Lauderdale.

“We’re excited to reopen in Sistrunk and give our loyal customers in Fort Lauderdale the same great sandwiches they’re accustomed to,” says Falsetto. “We will be the only restaurant inside Sistrunk with its own enclosed space and can’t wait to see what the future holds.”

Named after famous Floridian Henry Flagler, the restaurant will feature the sumptuous menu its loyal fans know and love along with a few new surprises (TBA). Under the direction of Handcrafted’s Corporate Chef Robbyns Martinez, the menu features an array of Sandwiches inspired by cities across the country, using house-smoked and cured meats, locally baked breads from Zak the Baker and house-made condiments and sauces. Indulgent handhelds include a Truffle Philly which starts with shaved ribeye and features exotic mushrooms, caramelized onions and truffle whiz served on a freshly baked Italian roll, while The Cubano features tender Heritage pork shoulder, slow roasted for hours, served atop a toasted garlic roll with melted provolone, hot cherry peppers and au jus. Other offerings include a Crispy Chicken Sandwich, Korean Fried Chicken and the Spicy Sicilian “Danielle,” named after Falsetto’s wife.

Diners won’t want to skip out on the French Fry Bar with everything from Maryland-style Beach Fries with Old Bay seasoning and Henry’s Poutine topped with cheese curds and brown gravy to Salt & Vinegar served with garlic aioli and Garlic Pesto with truffle aioli.

Henry’s will also showcase a rotating selection of freshly made soups and salads, along with craft sodas and fresh-baked pies and sweets from The Bake Shop.

Henry’s Sandwich Station will open to the public on Thursday, September 1, 2022, at 115 N.W. Sixth Street inside Sistrunk Marketplace & Brewery. Henry’s will be open for lunch and dinner Tuesday and Wednesday from 11:30AM to 8PM; Thursday from 11:30AM to 9PM; Friday and Saturday from 11AM to 11PM; and Sunday from 11AM to 8PM. www.henryssandwich.com; Telephone: (954) 616-5538.
