MARCO ISLAND (May 19, 2021) -- Marco Island Center for the Arts is hosting an author talk and book signing on July 15, 2021 at 5:30 for Naples resident and author Stephen J. McGuire. His book, “Prior Restraint”, was published March of 2021 and is an extraordinary read.

McGuire has had a distinguished 30-year legal career in our nation’s capital. He retired as a Chief Judge of the Federal Trade Commission having presided over highly public cases of anti-trust enforcement and proceedings.  George W. Bush honored McGuire for services to the national judiciary and he has received the FTC’s Distinguished Service Award.

McGuire uses his experiences in the national judiciary and top systems of power to create a compelling yet chilling political tale.  As an author McGuire crafts his thriller in a way that shines a light on greed and how power can corrupt in a way that walks the line between reality and illusion.  McGuire’s plot line can feel more disturbing as it can sometimes bear a close link to our current reality.

Don’t miss this thrilling opportunity to get the full back story from author Stephen J. McGuire about this hit new political thriller “Prior Restraint”
