With the sunny summer months at hand, Friends of the Mounts Botanical Garden is announcing new hours and reduced admission rates through Labor Day at the beautiful 20-acre oasis, located just minutes from downtown West Palm Beach.
“Summer at the Garden will be packed with special events, horticultural workshops, and healthy activities, so our special summer hours and lower admission prices are extra encouragement for visitors of all ages to come out and Discover, Join, Shop, and Volunteer,” invites Mounts Interim Co-Director Misty Stoller.
As of June1, Mounts Botanical Garden will be open to the Public Tuesday through Sunday from 9 am to 3 pm (with last entry at 2 pm), and the daily admission rate as of today has been lowered to $15 for adults; $12 for seniors, college students and military with IDs; $7 for ages 6 to 17; and free for children under age 6. The traditional hours and rates at Mounts will resume this Fall.
In addition, the ever-popular Palm Beach County Residents Days and Dogs’ Days in the Garden will continue throughout the Summer. This includes FREE admission for Palm Beach County residents on the first Wednesday of every month. (Visitors must show proof of residency for entry.) Dogs’ Days in the Garden are the second Sunday of each month (except during events and plant sales). Dogs are free for members and $5 for nonmembers. For details, visit www.mounts.org/dogs-day/.
