Naples Zoo is excited to announce that they will be open this weekend for Boo at the Zoo. While the Zoo does have some flooding, there was no major damage, and all the animals and staff are in good spirits.
Naples Zoo’s dedicated team is actively working to clean up the grounds and decorate for Boo at the Zoo. Boo at the Zoo will run Saturday, October 12th, and Sunday, October 13th, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM daily. The Zoo will be open through 4:30 PM, as usual. The Zoo is still planning to host Boo at the Zoo next weekend as well, October 18th- 20th. The Zoo will also be open on Monday, October 14th for usual hours.
While some of the community vendors are unable to attend, the Zoo is making up for those candy stations by having staff hand out candy at booths. Naples Zoo will still have great entertainment for the weekend, including princesses, superheroes, a stilt walker, jugglers, pirates, and more!
Activities include a trick-or-treat trail, education stations, a scavenger hike, character meet-and-greets, face painters, a comedy stunt show, and endless photo opportunities. As always, guests can also enjoy watching the animals go wild “carving” their pumpkins and treats with tooth, horn, and claw. All the Boo at the Zoo activities are included in regular Zoo admission. Please note that due to the hurricane's impact, some animals may not be back in their habitats by tomorrow, and the Primate Expedition Cruise will be temporarily closed.
