Panama City Beach Announces New Attractions and Developments
PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla., July 21, 2022 – Panama City Beach, best known for its 27 miles of sugar-white sand beaches and emerald-green waters, is pleased to announce new restaurants, attractions and developments in the destination.
“We are looking toward the future with optimism and are thrilled to see continued interest and investment in our community from locals and visitors alike,” says Visit Panama City Beach President and CEO Dan Rowe. “From exciting new attractions to a variety of new hotels and resorts opening soon, including a luxury RV resort, the destination has a lot of exciting new things to offer.”
Panama City Beach has become a beloved destination for families, athletes, nature enthusiasts and foodies seeking a relaxed and affordable getaway. As a result of its loyal visitors, the beach destination continues to expand at an incredible rate, quickly bouncing back from early 2020 travel restrictions set about by the pandemic.

Attractions:
Watersound West Bay Center – Development starting Fall 2022
The 110-acre center located at the intersection of State Road 79 and West Bay Parkway will include approximately 350,000 square feet of leasable space to feature a mix of retail, restaurant, office and medical space.
Panama City Beach Skate Park - Opening Early 2023
A 20,000 square foot skate park broke ground in June of 2022. The $2 million dollar park will include half pipes, quarter pipes and snake runs in addition to multi-functional facilities for skaters to do tricks on. Located by the Publix Sports Park, this world-renowned skate park will host several tournaments and special skateboarding events. The park is expected to be completed in April of 2023.
All Inclusive Adventures – Glow Kayak and Paddleboards – Open Now
Grab your friends for this glowing kayak adventure and explore the water at NIGHT! See the water like never before in our clear kayaks. You'll paddle around the bay in protected waters and search for crabs, fish, and other marine life! This unique adventure will surely leave you GLOWING!

Paradise Adventures – Ohana Sailboat – Open Now
The Ohana gives our guests an opportunity to observe Panama City Beach dolphins and end with a spectacular Sunset over the Gulf of Mexico. The “Ohana” tours offer smaller crowds with only six passengers or less, for a more quaint and private tour. Our experienced Captain and Crew will share some fascinating and fun facts about our magnificent dolphins as you watch the beautiful sunset on the horizon.
Champagne Lady Dining Cruise – Open Now
Our full service now floats at the Sheraton PCB Resort aboard the 78’ cruising yacht, The Champagne Lady! Offering guests an unforgettable experience on the only dining cruise in Panama City Beach. Embassy Suites by Hilton- Opening 2022
The St. Joe Company and Key International broke ground in August 2019 on a sprawling four-and-five-story Embassy Suites next to Pier Park with beautiful views of the Gulf of Mexico. Managed by St. Joe Hospitality, this 225-guest suite hotel will feature a pool with various pool deck seating options, meeting space, fitness center, an on-site restaurant and an upper-level social, catering and event space looking out over the Gulf. The city has approved a development order for Kukla RV Resort, a luxury RV resort located between Hutchinson Boulevard and Front Beach Road, which will be geared toward a high-end clientele. The resort will offer amenities such as a pool, fitness center, restaurant, clubhouse, concierge and is positioned to be nothing like the area has ever seen before.
