PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla., May 12, 2021 – Visit Panama City Beach is pleased to announce the return of its annual Real. Fun. Fourth. celebration – a red, white and blue extravaganza with two nights of firework displays on Saturday, July 3 and Sunday, July 4.  Known as the largest Fourth of July fireworks show on the Gulf Coast and hosted on Panama City Beach’s 27 miles of sugar-white sand beaches and emerald-green waters, this All-American event invites visitors of all ages to celebrate Independence Day.

“The City of Panama City Beach, in partnership with Pier Park and Bay County, is thrilled to continue this colorful and festive tradition this July, and for many years to come,” says Visit Panama City Beach President and CEO Dan Rowe. “Real. Fun. Fourth. is one of the most spectacular 4th of July celebrations on the Gulf Coast. With synchronized firework shows being blasted from the City and County piers, this extravaganza is an event all ages are guaranteed to enjoy.”

Light Up the Bay: July 2
Join us for a long holiday weekend of fun for the whole family at Papa Joe’s. Bring your lawn chair and enjoy an array of food trucks, live music and fireworks over the bay! (4601 W US-98)

Light Up the Gulf: July 3 @ 8:00 p.m.
Panama City Beach will “Light Up the Gulf” on Saturday, July 3 at 8:30 p.m. for the beach’s largest, private fireworks. The magic happens after dark behind the Boardwalk Beach Resort condominium, with the 14th Annual Beach Bash including free live entertainment, contests and kid’s activities.

Freedom Rocks: July 3 @ 8:45 p.m.
Come early to shop and dine at any Freedom Rocks participating waterfront restaurants, rock a spot with the glorious sun-set washed colors painting the skies above the Grand Lagoon Bridge or bring your chair/blanket to the green grassy lawn at Treasure Island Marina.

Star Spangled Spectacular: July 4 @ 9:00 p.m.
The City of Panama City Beach will host the largest fireworks display on the Gulf Coast on Sunday, July 4 at 9:00 p.m. The show will feature dueling fireworks from the City (Russell-Fields) and County (M.B. Miller) Piers. Guests are invited to set up their beach chairs and encouraged to arrive early to get the best views.
