The biggest ride in Rapids Waterpark’s 45 year history is set to open on March 9, 2024!
This exhilarating one-of-a-kind racing ride will stand 54 feet tall and run 837 feet in length per lane. Featuring two side-by-side flumes, riders will speed down twists and high-banked turns and are propelled uphill by a unique blast of water jet propulsion technology. Adrenaline seekers will compete to reach the finishing plunge first while experiencing drop and dive sensations along the way. Riders can see other racers through open low-separator walls speeding down the slide at up to 22 mph.
MEGA MAYHEM is designed by ProSlide Technology, Inc. and will be the first Dueling PIPElineBLAST/ FlyingSAUCER 20 in Florida; the 3rd one built in the United States and North America, and the longest Dueling PIPElineBLAST/FlyingSAUCER 20 in North America. ProSlide Technology, Inc. has received industry awards for the design and development of the Dueling PIPElineBLAST/ FlyingSAUCER 20 including the World Waterpark Association's Leading Edge Award, the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) Industry Impact Award, and the IAAPA Brass Ring Award.

The park features a lazy river, 25,000 square foot wave pool, FlowRider surf simulator, kids’ play structure with tipping bucket, body slides, mat racer, tube slides, and raft rides for the whole family.
