Effective June 1, the Rookery Bay Environmental Learning Center, 300 Tower Road, has joined Museums for All to encourage people of all backgrounds to visit museums regularly and build lifelong museum-going habits.
Guests receiving food assistance (SNAP) benefits can visit for $1 per person for ages 4 and older, up to four people, with the presentation of a SNAP Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card. Admission is free for children ages 3 and younger.
The center is open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Learn more at rookerybay.org.
Museums for All is a signature access program of the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), administered by the Association of Children’s Museums (ACM). It offers free or reduced admission to eligible members of the public at more than 1,300 museums across the country. Learn more at museums4all.org.
Museums for All is part of the Friends of Rookery Bay’s commitment to seek, include, and welcome all audiences. Exhibit information near the aquariums will soon be available in Spanish.
