Applications now available for musicians and venues interested in participating in this September’s Local Artist Showcases across St. Johns County

Sing Out Loud Festival has officially opened applications for both artists and venues interested in participating in the 2026 Sing Out Loud Local Artist Showcases, which will take place across St. Johns County over three weekends this September.

Since the festival’s inception in 2016, the Local Artist Showcases have been a defining and beloved part of Sing Out Loud Festival, spotlighting local and regional talent and connecting music fans to more than 100 free performances at over a dozen venues. In 2026, the showcases will take place on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays across the following weekends: September 4-6, September 11-13, and September 18-20.

Selected artists will be scheduled at participating venues over the course of the three showcase weekends as part of the official Sing Out Loud Festival lineup. The festival aims to curate a diverse mix of artists and musical styles that reflect the character, culture, and creativity of the St. Johns County community. To be considered, artists must be based in St. Johns County or the surrounding region, and participating venues must be located within St. Johns County.

Artists interested in performing this year may apply online HERE, and venues interested in hosting showcases may apply online HERE. Applications for both artists and venues are due by Friday, May 1 at 12:00 p.m. Selected applicants will be notified in June. Submission of an application does not guarantee participation.

As Sing Out Loud Festival celebrates its 10th year, the 2026 festival will spotlight the music community through its September Local Artist Showcases, alongside additional programming such as the St. Augustine Songwriters Festival, St. Augustine Record Fair, and Music Business Panel, with more details to be announced soon. As previously announced, the festival’s marquee Francis Field Weekend is set to return in May 2027, reflecting the event’s continued evolution while preserving the community-centered spirit that has shaped Sing Out Loud from the start.

Sing Out Loud Festival is curated and produced by SJC Cultural Events, Inc., the St. Augustine, Florida-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that operates the award-winning St. Augustine Amphitheatre, Ponte Vedra Concert Hall, and the nationally recognized Fort Mose Jazz & Blues Series.
