Picturesque St. Andrews State Park and Shell Island in Panama City, Fla. and The Lodge at Wakulla Springs inside Edward Ball Wakulla Springs State Park in Wakulla Springs, Fla. are excited to present their schedule of beautiful holiday events. St. Andrews State Park will present their annual Golf Cart Parade on Dec. 13.  Visitors can decorate their own golf cart or use one at the park.  Meet at the camp at 11 a.m. for an on-time start at noon.  From December 20 to 28, the park will also host a Christmas Shell Island Sunset Cruse with Christmas Carols, Hot Cocoa and Cookies.  

Ranked as number 7 in Dr. Beach’s Top 10 Beaches for 2025, the park is well known for its sunset cruises, Shell Island Ferry, paddle board and pontoon rentals.  St. Andrews State Park will be offering 25 percent off of Glamping Tent rentals from Nov. 27 through Dec. 3, 2025 and those using the booking discount will receive a one-day golf cart or bike rental for two. The Lodge at Wakulla Springs will hold a Bountiful Thanksgiving Buffet Nov. 27 from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. for $55.99 plus tax and gratuity for adults and $21.99 plus tax and gratuity for children 12 and under. On Nov. 29, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. the Wakulla Springs Makers Market at The Lodge will feature local artisans, handmade gifts, crafts and holiday cheer. Vendors will be located in the Terrace and Back Lawn areas. Special December events will include Brunch With Santa on Dec. 7 and 21 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with delicious food, holiday cheer and a special visit from Santa Claus with goodie bags for the children.  Adults ages 13 and over are $40, Children ages 4 to 12 are $26 and children ages 2-3 are $11.

A Christmas Buffet at the Lodge at Wakulla Springs will take place December 25 from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Prices are $54.95 plus tax and gratuity for adults, $19.99 plus tax and gratuity for kids 13 and under.  New Year’s Eve at The Lodge will also feature dinner in the dining room until 10 p.m.  Details to be posted soon. 

Edward Ball Wakulla Springs State Park is one of the world’s largest and deepest freshwater springs, rimmed by ancient Cypress Swamp.
