Historic Brooksville on Florida’s Adventure Coast makes the holidays easy for those seeking the perfect gift for artists and crafters. Whether in person or online, visit Teal Plank Workshop to purchase a DIY home décor kit guided by local design experts. Head to Panbanged Knits and Fiber Shoppe for top quality knitting materials and classes for aspiring fiber artists.

Gulf Gate, a hidden gem neighborhood in south Sarasota, offers a unique collection of restaurants and shops that celebrate global traditions from Mexico to Sweden, Poland to England, Korea to Hungary, and many places in-between. Find gifts online for world culture buffs or travelers planning their next adventure at Piccolo Italian Market,  Scandinavian Gifts and Nontando, featuring goods sourced from the entire continent of Africa.

Sebring is peddling all sorts of local goods from the DIY crafts at Grateful Hearts to customized Western-wear at Pure Grit Boot Company. Recently voted one of the "Best Places" in Florida, Historic Downtown Fernandina Beach is hosting its annual Black Friday Pajama Party starting at 8 a.m. on Black Friday. Merchants will be offering special discounts and refreshments for shoppers. Dress in pajamas and enjoy the day shopping local.

Find unique treasures in historic Downtown Brooksville during its Small Business Saturday event on November 28 from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. Pick up the official event passport at the historic Hernando County Courthouse and start exploring area gift and craft stores, antique shops and local eateries. Complete at least 50% of the passport to be entered into a prize drawing.

The Delray Beach Downtown Development Authority is urging consumers to shop small and local this holiday with its Delray Beach 2020 Holiday Ornament Giveaway. Spend $200 at Downtown Delray businesses from Nov. 27-28 and show the receipts at one of the SHOP SMALL Stations to receive a handmade glass ornament created by local artist, Marusca Gatto

In Tallahassee, Hearth & Soul is offering $25 in savings to the first 25 customers, alongside 20% off all black and white items in store. The shop continues their holiday tradition with their fifth annual window reveal with this year’s theme “Rockin’ Around the Hearth.” Festivities will include both live and virtual performances from local musicians, showcasing the amazing talent in the Big Bend region.
