Visit Wakulla, the official tourism department of Wakulla County, has launched a fully redesigned website aimed at enhancing visitor services. The redesigned website represents a significant step forward in Visit Wakulla’s ongoing efforts to promote sustainable tourism, support local businesses, and position the county as a must-visit destination in Florida’s Big Bend region.

“We are thrilled to finally unveil a platform that truly reflects everything Wakulla County has to offer,” said Commissioner Ralph Thomas, Chairman of the Wakulla Tourism Development Council. “Our goal was to create a user-friendly resource that not only inspires visitors, but also makes planning their trip to Wakulla simple and enjoyable. We’re excited for both visitors and our local businesses to benefit from this new resource.”

The Visit Wakulla website serves as the only comprehensive source of its kind in Wakulla County, offering a complete and curated directory of more than 150 things to do, places to eat, accommodations, and upcoming events – all on one easy to navigate platform.

The most notable feature on the new website is a personalized itinerary builder, which allows users to favorite activities or events and build custom itineraries tailored to their interests, making trip planning more efficient and engaging than ever before.

New businesses are encouraged to submit their information directly through the “Local Businesses” tab on the website, helping to ensure the site continues to grow as a comprehensive and inclusive reflection of the county’s offerings.
