"Our West Palm Beach GreenMarket is a staple of our West Palm Beach community," said Mary Pinak, community events manager for the City of West Palm Beach. "It is much more than a place to shop. Before the pandemic, it was a weekly meeting place for friends and family to gather and relax while supporting local businesses. During the pandemic, it was an essential food service that provided critical support to local businesses. With more than 25 years in our downtown community, we know it is a special event, and we are honored for the continued national recognition."

The GreenMarket's mission is to provide the community with seasonal access to locally grown fresh fruits, fresh vegetables, plants, and agricultural products. The Market supports the southeast Florida agricultural community and stimulates agricultural development, particularly in Palm Beach County, by providing an outlet for locally grown crops and specialty products. The West Palm Beach GreenMarket has been featured in The Boston Globe and named the number one green market in Florida by Cooking Light magazine.
