Otter Fest offers guests chance to sample brews from 15 breweries
Calling all beer lovers! Wekiva Island is offering you the chance to sip and sample beers from 15 breweries on Jan. 27, 2024.
The Seminole County attraction will host its annual craft beer festival, Otter Fest, from 2 to 5 p.m. that day. Tickets are $40 for General Admission and $50 for VIP, which allows guests to enter an hour early at 1 p.m. for even more fun.
Admission allows guests to meet representatives from the breweries, which include many local favorites, to learn about the beers and brewing, grab freebies, and of course, sample countless options.
Without a Paddle Café will be serving up food options for purchase, including special menu items to pair with the beer samples.
The event is in its sixth year and is only open to those 21+. It takes its name from Wekiva Island’s craft beer and wine bar, The Tooting Otter, which in turn pays homage to the attraction’s beautiful riverside location and its natural inhabitants.
“At Wekiva Island, we take beer very seriously,” said Carrie Vanderhoef, Wekiva Island manager. “Our staff members train with a cicerone so they can elevate our guests’ experiences every day. Otter Fest is a fun annual tradition that allows us to celebrate everything we love about craft beer with our guests.”
